IASK has always valued being able to create opportunities to bring kinesiologists and associations together in international conversations.  This year, we will hold meetings online and so are making them shorter and separating out the components so that each discussion has a dedicated space.  We have in the past welcomed schools to join our meeting of associations – this year we are creating a dedicated opportunity for schools and educators to explore their own conversations.

Three separate events – Join the International conversation!

  • Meeting of Schools and Educators: 18 August 2021, 14:00 – 16:00 CEST, Online – ZOOM
This year brings our very first Meeting dedicated especially to schools and educators.  You are the people that form and grow our newest kinesiologists and in so doing, expand the impact of kinesiology in the world.  The training landscape has changed extensively over the last couple of years – this is an opportunity to come together to share your challenges, learn from each other’s solutions and consider collaborations that benefit both you and your students.  Join this opening conversation and pave the way for new opportunities in kinesiology education.

  • Meeting of Associations: 25 August 2021, 14:00 – 16:00 CEST, Online – ZOOM

The Meeting of Associations is designed to bring together representatives from the Boards of different national associations. We use this time to learn more about Specialized Kinesiology around the world, help each other move forward and co-operate on large projects that can have global impact for our field.

The first MoA took place in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2014 and was an amazing success! As these meetings have continued we are establishing a culture of trust and communication that can help us all to advance.

  • AGM: 1 September 2021, 14:00 – 16:00 CEST, Online – ZOOM
Have a say in the future of IASK!   Although AGM’s are not known for entertainment and excitement, IASK brings together an inspiring community of kinesiologists and so even meetings tend to be positive and enjoyable spaces.  We welcome suggestions and collaborations with kinesiologists near and far.
