SELF CARE FOR PRACTITIONERS
Kinesi-yogi-ology Self-Mastery Embodiment “prima materia” interactive practice
9am CET/7pm AEST
About the Presentation
An accessible, meditative physical exercise practice for practitioner self care. These practices are intended for practitioners who see clients regularly or have sedentary lifestyles on a daily basis, stand or sit for long periods of time and provide extensive care for their clients in physical demanding laborious workplaces.
The purpose of this practice is to produce an energy boost, connect with your inner strength, recover to a natural state of being, reset your energy field to optimal function and or create inspiration and motivation. The idea is we must connect with ourselves deeply first before anyone else.
This will help prepare you to care for your body before, after, during and especially in between client sessions, when you have limited time.
We will review:
- How to apply 10 accessible ways to consciously move the spine including the head, neck, trunk, upper and lower limbs will allow life force energy to flow involving all parts of the body.
- How to integrate deep into the cells to clean the body’s mind to its natural state of coherence or being.
- Postures and movements will specifically target and balance out the compensation of standing, sitting and caring for clients for long periods of time in uncomfortable postures or positions.
- We will start and finish with the sound of creation chanting “Om”.
The top 10 simple standing or seated versions of spinal postures are best suited for Kinesiology practitioners and for everyone. There are no contra-indications.
A verbally and visually guided detailed descriptive demonstration will be shown how to position the spine in neutral (or compression), traction (lengthened), flexion (forward bend), extension (back bend), lateral extension (side bend), axial rotation (twist), expansion and contraction positions with nerve tensioning (lengthening), including optional body balances and natural concentrated movement meditation using focused concentration, conscious awareness of breath mastery and chi to move stagnant energies and replenish with fresh new energies in the sacred physical body vessel.
