THE JOURNEY OF SPECIALISED KINESIOLOGY IN SOUTH AFRICA
Date: 6th March 2025
Time: 9am CET
About the Presentation
Join us for an insightful journey into the evolution of Specialised Kinesiology training in South Africa. We’ll explore:
- The foundational influence of Gudrun Lauterbach, whose dedication ensured our training remained true to the original workshop teachings.
- The impact of international instructors—Andrew Verity, Coby Schasfoort, Kyra Gaasbeek, Evelyne Rupp, and Marco Rado—who brought their expertise to South Africa.
- How the arrival of the internet allowed us to connect with global teachers and expand our kinesiology toolkit.
The Hierarchy of Needs Chart
Gudrun Lauterbach developed “The Hierarchy of Needs Chart”, an advanced tool based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. This expanded framework provides deep insights into client patterns and behaviors, helping practitioners:
✅ Identify unmet needs at the root of emotional and physical challenges
✅ Recognize the “bounce” effect—how a single shift can break limitations
✅ Understand resulting patterns and how to transform them
An essential addition to any kinesiologist’s toolbox!
About Melanie Bennett
My journey into Specialised Kinesiology began in 1992 with a life-changing moment, I developed eczema overnight after a phone call. At a fair, I met Harold Bliss, who was demonstrating Touch for Health (TFH). He explained:
“The front of the body represents present time, the back represents the past, the left side represents female, and the right side represents male.”
That insight hooked me instantly!
Since then, I have:
- Trained with Gudrun Lauterbach in 3-in-1 Concepts
- Studied with every instructor and workshop available
- Developed a passion for integrating knowledge and using MUP to access a client’s context
- Taught TFH, Neuro Training, Gudrun’s workshops, and NK – Brain & Physiology Formatting & Finger Modes
Join me to explore our South African journey in Specialised Kinesiology!
