Office Manager Louise Shiels
Why am I active in IASK?
I’m so excited to be part of the IASK team! Kinesiology has been a huge inspiration in my life, not only helping me through my own health challenges but also guiding me toward a more holistic way of supporting others. It’s incredibly inspiring that this organisation exists, bringing together like-minded people who are doing such beautiful and meaningful work. I feel honoured to support, connect and continue learning as part of this amazing community.
About me as a Kinesiologist and my business.
Although I’m newly qualified in Kinesiology, it’s been part of my life since my early 20s, when I first discovered this incredible tool that helped me through some significant health challenges. It completely shifted how I understood the body and sparked a deep fascination with natural healthcare systems that has stayed with me ever since.
Alongside my journey in holistic health, I’ve worked for many years as an administrator across the charity, public, and wellness sectors. I now love supporting wellbeing practitioners as a Virtual Assistant, combining my organisational skills with my passion for healing work.
Over the past decade, I’ve focused on group facilitation. I’m a certified Yoga Nidra instructor and Sound Healing practitioner, and I run nurturing workshops centred on rest, nervous system regulation, and deep restoration. I’m also trained in Somatic Coaching and have recently been expanding into more 1:1 client work, offering Kinesiology, Facial Reflexology and Homeobotanical Therapy.
Currently, I host Rest Retreats in the UK, and I’m excited to grow these into more specialised spaces.
